TOOWOOMBA trainer Ben Currie was fined $6000 after Queensland Racing Integrity Commission stewards completed an inquiry yesterday into a positive test returned from a stable runner in April.

He was found guilty of a charge relating to Tints testing positive to the banned substance boldenone after finishing unplaced at Rockhampton.

Currie has the right to appeal against the charge.

Stewards will inquire next Wednesday into a positive test to methamphetamine from the Currie-trained Party Till Dawn following her Clifford Park win in July.
