Former Richard Hannon trainee Log Out Island (Ire) (Dark Angel {Ire}), a winner of the Listed Toronado Carnarvon S. on May 14, 2016, has been disqualified under Rule (A)74 Ground 3 from that race following a ruling by the Disciplinary Panel of the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which held an enquiry on June 9. The Godolphin colourbearer’s urine, after analysis, contained O-desmethyltramadol, a metabolite of tramadol, a substance which may be legitimately used in horses in training, but is a prohibited substance on raceday, pursuant to Schedule (G)1 paragraph 7 of the Rules of Racing. It is the third positive finding for O-desmethyltramadol in a period of 12 months for Hannon. The Disciplinary Panel accepted an admission from Hannon that he was in breach of Rule (G)2.1 and fined him £5,000. Runner-up Remarkable (GB) (Pivotal {GB}) was placed first, followed by Buying Trouble (Hat Trick {Jpn}), Dhahmaan (Ire) (Kodiac {GB}), King of Rooks (GB) (Acclamation {GB}), Taneen (Speightstown) and Dream Dubai (GB) (Kyllachy {GB}).
