SACRAMENTO, CA – The California Horse Racing Board today issued a stay order (attached) allowing trainer Steven Miyadi to resume training pending the outcome of the legal process involving an altercation between Miyadi and Commissioner Alex Solis. The Board had issued an interim suspension order September 25. The stay order issued by CHRB Chairman Chuck Winner is conditioned on Miyadi staying at least 25 feet away from any member of the California Horse Racing Board. A hearing on this matter is scheduled October 11 at Los Alamitos Race Course.
