The Ohio State Racing Commission (OSRC)’s open forum on out of competition testing will be held April 24 OSRC at 10 am, at the Riffe Center, 77 S. High Street, Room 1960.

The meeting is open to all pari-mutuel stakeholders, horsemen’s associations and the public, and will take place immediately after the OSRC’s monthly meeting agenda has been transacted.

“We’re looking for input from everyone,” said Robert Schmitz, OSRC Chairman. “We hope to create an atmosphere in which ideas are generated that will continue to elevate Ohio’s racing program to even greater heights.”

The OSRC hosted an open meeting to discuss Advance Deposit Wagering (ADW) licensing and regulation in Ohio on March 27, 2017, with representatives from horsemen’s organizations and Ohio’s seven racetracks attending.

“Out of competition testing needs to be studied and strategically developed in Ohio,” Chairman Schmitz stressed.

The OSRC asks that anyone wishing to speak at the April 24 meeting to send their comments in advance to OSRC Executive Director Bill Crawford.
